Gloryhound lead singer, Evan Meisner says “the band was pleased to receive a message (from their agent) saying ‘Headstones wanted to let Gloryhound know that Hugh [Dillon] and the band listened to all the submissions given to them and they felt Gloryhound were the right band’, and we’re thrilled to be on this tour, seeing our Ontario fans just before the holidays.”

Gloryhound have enjoyed a wild ride since the release of their seven-song Electric Dusk EP, garnering multiple award nominations from MusicNS and ECMA, song placements in feature films (Charlie Zone, Love Me) and television series (Less Than Kind, Rookie Blue), opening for Thin Lizzy at Toronto’s Sound Academy, touring with rock icons Deep Purple, The Cult and more, while their first single, EP title track “Electric Dusk”, gained Top 20 status on the national Media Base Active Rock charts, achieved Top 30 status on the Billboard/BDS Canadian Rock charts, and delivered a nomination for a coveted Canadian Radio Music Award.

Gloryhound are currently hunkered down at The Farm Studios/Fader Mountain Sound in Vancouver, BC, working with renowned producer Garth “GGGarth” Richardson (Hedley, Rage Against The Machine, Nickelback, Rise Against, Ten Second Epic, Head of The Herd…), whom they’ve enlisted to guide them through the making of their new, as yet unnamed, full-length album. The new Gloryhound album is scheduled for release by e-One Music Canada in 2014.
